The Mobile Computing Authority podcast team came together in February 2006 to discuss new topics in the mobile world on a regular podcast. It was the brainchild of Craig Johnston who reached out to other BlackBerry book authors, Dante Sarigumba and Bill Foust about the idea and expanding the scope to include all mobile devices and markets. The podcast was a success for four years and garnered a steady following of listeners. In the winter of 2010, we decided to relaunch the Mobile Computing Authority as more than just a podcast and the Mobile Computing Authority blog site was born.
